Perennial Delaware Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell has attracted the attention of the Feds. While investigating the O’Donnell campaign’s finances, the Feds have run into information that has led to the release of a criminal probe. Allegations have been made the O’Donnell inappropriately appropriated campaign funds for her own gratification. It would have been so much easier if she just took out her own unsecured loan for personal expenditures. O’Donnell campaign faces multiple inspections

There is the federal campaign finance investigation into Christine O’Donnell’s Senate bid who’s a Republican Tea Party preferred. This was because of some grievances that had been filed. Two FBI agents in Delaware and 2 federal prosecutors were reported to be working on the O’Donnell case. The O’Donnell campaign already faces a Federal Elections Commission complaint filed by her own party during the Delaware U.S. Senate Republican primary. Her campaign is accused of illegally collaborating with the Tea Party Express on paid political ads and other communications.

O'Donnell combined in with unlawful behaviors

A Delaware state record was made as Christine O'Donnell's campaign raised $7.3 million. Still, Vice President Joe Biden's previous U.S. Senate seat was taken up by Democrat Chris Coons. The Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington accused her of spending funds on gas and rent which were designed to go to the campaign. Monetary damages can be what the FEC goes for. This would be something either O'Donnell or the campaign committee would have to handle. If it’s determined that she willfully violated federal elections law, the Justice Department could pursue fines or jail time.

O’Donnell a little bit short on money

A previous aide to O'Donnell came out and said that she had been living off of campaign donations for years as "a complete fraud" during the U.S. Senate campaign. There were 2 times that O'Donnell had run for Delaware U.S. Senate before the 2010 campaign got all the attention. Her financial history is interesting. This is even with all her failures. For not paying $4,000 in tuition, she was also sued in 1994 by Farleigh Dickinson University. She was also sued for mortgage default in 2008. Earlier this year, the IRS filed a lien against O’Donnell for more than $11,000 in unpaid federal income tax.
