Safe Toys and Gifts Month is what December is also. This can be a good holiday for December considering thousands of toys are given and received during the calendar month. In December, a listing of unsafe toys is released. This is so when buying presents, only safe toys will hopefully be bought.

In Dec, World AIDS day is recognized. This is the first day of the month. The day is there so many could be more aware of the AIDS infections. Also, many will look for treatment due to this day. There is another holiday December 1. It is National Pie day of course. Dec. 2 is National Fritters day, and Dec. 4 is National Cookie Day. Dec. 7 is National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. December 2010 could be the 69th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Continuing the food theme, Dec. 8 is National Brownie Day. In order to celebrate the 107th anniversary of the first flight of Orville and Wilbur Wright, we will celebrate Dec 17 as the Pan-American Aviation Day and the Wright Brothers Day. Don't forget about National Wear A Plunger on your Head day. It is Dec 18. Three holidays fall on December 21. Look on the Bright Side Day,
National Humbug Day and Forefather's Day all fall then.

Holiday seasons in 2010 Dec that are religious

Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights, will start on December 1. In Dec 2010, the Islamic New Year celebration will begin. This is going to be on December 7, or for the Islamic calendar, 1432 AH. The Feast of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated by many Christians and always Catholics. This could be December 8. The Winter Solstice, a celebration of the turning of the seasons for many religions, is on Dec. 21. Festivus, a holiday began by Seinfeld, is on Dec. 23. Christmas Day is Dec. 25, which falls on a Saturday this year. You will start the seven day Kwanzaa celebration in December. The 16th will start this. All in all, Dec Holidays 2010 pack the calendar month full of reasons to commemorate.
