Postpone on celebrating election outcomes

There were surprises and complete non-surprises within the 2010 election outcomes. The House of Representatives went into the elections controlled by Democrats. It’s now held by Republicans. The Senate, though, is nevertheless mostly filled with Democrats. A couple of did lose their seats though. Tea Party candidates weren’t quite the force to be reckoned with as some thought they were. Congress, nevertheless, might be so deadlocked by party lines that it won’t be able to do anything.

Election outcomes might be an issue

The majority of the House of Representatives is going to be occupied by Republicans, if the 2010 election voting results are being reported accurately. Granted, there isn’t really anything intrinsically wrong with Republicans (or at least more wrong than what’s wrong with Democrats), but neither party is really cooperative. Numerous say it is definitely a bad thing for children to stand on principle however good for officials. Since neither party will work with each other, nothing will get done. Congress will end up in a deadlock. That may be thought of as a good thing, but it isn’t. It is actually something that should not happen. People who are realistic have Palin on their backs which is bad for authorities.

All of the world

Great Britain had some troubles earlier this year. A hung parliament is what happened. When there is an almost equal number of representatives in legislature, that is a hung parliament. Business ends up not being taken care of since no party had a majority. The United Kingdom and other parliamentary governments have tried to avoid it although the Tea Party says it is good. Granted, there is something intended to be special and American about anything we do as a nation, however what is bad for everyone else is probably bad for us.

Cannot deny what it is

Boehner will always do the opposite of things Obama wants. However, he even realized that to "meet in the middle" is typically the best option, the Huffington Post accounts, when it comes to these issues. Officials without the ability to compromise are not friends to democracy.

Tea Party writes publication about how Obama stole Christmas

Losing an election can bring out the Grinch in any politician, and conquered Washington State Tea Party Congressional candidate Hedrick is no exclusion. Hedrick probably will not be signing legislation in Washington, but he did write a kids’ book called "The Liberal Claus(e): Socialism on a Sleigh". Based on Newser, the book tells the story of how Barry the Liberal Claus, wife Lichelle, Elf Peloosi and Mr. Snore ruin Christmas. Thanks to Tea Party kids and the words of the Christmastution, all’s conservatively well that ends well. Post resource – Tea Party pens book on how Obama stole Christmas by Personal Money Store.

Christmas stolen by Obama for $twenty

Hedrick told the Portland Mercury that the North Pole Treasury is bankrupts so the Liberal Claus Barry borrows anywhere he can "eliminates toy specialists and commits other atrocities." But once the elves unplug his teleprompter and wave copies of the Christmastution in his face, Barry flees the scene and leaves Christmas to appropriately conservative little Tea Party boys and girls. The underlying message, said Hedrick, is “Never forget that free goodies from liberal elves often come at a price.”

Satire used to show everyone the truth

America's youth tends to be indoctrinated in a more liberal sense. Numerous say that even though David Hedrick wrote "The Liberal Claus(e): Socialism on a Sleigh" as a way of changing that, many say it’s inappropriate. Numerous say that kids should not be taught about politics or religion, although they go together the majority of the time. These consist of Nicolas Humphrey, Daniel Dennett and Richard Hawkins. Labels are shown in an example that biologist Dawkins put together. Being a "Christian child" is different than being a "child of Christian parents." This is significant to recognize. According to Wikipedia:

"Dawkins hopes that the phrase will even make children aware that belief is not something that is inherited automatically like eye color; that they do not have to follow in the religious footsteps of their family. He has tried to raise people’s consciousness of this matter, and hopes that phrases like ‘Christian child’, ‘Muslim child’, or ‘atheist child’ will ‘grate like fingernails on a blackboard.’"

Sales numbers for David Hedrick’s "The Liberal Claus(e): Socialism on a Sleigh" have not been made public as yet. Nobody knows if it will strike a chord or result in being a problem for kids.

Small loans providers could not afford to buy candidates

Any industry can make campaign contributions, even small loans providers like payday advance loan providers. Some people think that if any business donates to a candidate, it is a bribe. One such idea is that if a candidate or official does not want payday advances banned or capped within an inch of their life has been bought and sold by the industry. Payday loan providers do not posses that sort of cash, and the argument is hypocritical to boot. Article resource – Small loans lenders could hardly afford to purchase elections by Personal Money Store.

Is the small loan industry really buying officials?

Cash advance and installment loans providers, along with other small loan providers, are allowed to lobby politicians in order to make sure they get some say, along with all other trade organizations. Members of these organizations make campaign contributions, which they’re legally allowed to do. Sometimes they host conferences that officials are invited to, and there are plenty of other organizations that lobby incumbents or candidates. Yet a double standard is often observed. The newest Mexico Independent reports that there was a recent New Mexico debate where Democratic candidate Diane Denish got angry at Susana Martinez since she had been supposedly bribed by cash advance lenders since Martinez had some of the alternate financial services sector throw a fundraiser for her.

Who is in charge of rules now?

A sector making contributions to a candidate does not mean too much. Also, who gets to determine which organizations are morally acceptable enough for making donations? Besides, payday loan and small loan providers as a business can’t afford to really buy off anyone. $57,900 went to Congressional Rep. Heath Shuler of North Carolina in the 2010 election fund. That counts all donations from the whole payday lending organization. In 2010, the Royal Bank of Scotland gave Chris Dodd $152,100. Do you want to determine what your representatives are receiving? Go to OpenSecrets.org, and you might be surprised.

Payday lending is small

The contributions small loan companies can make as a sector are dwarfed when it comes to other lobbies, such as banks and high finance. The biggest contributor to election campaigns, far and away, is unions. Unions are certainly not the cleanest groups of individuals. Contributions that small hardly makes a bribe. Craigslist Albany pimping runs afoul of police

Craigslist has tried in vain to remain neutral, but all the unfavorable attention the internet service, sales and personals message board has drawn because of illegal internet prostitution and "girlfriend experience" (GFE) ads may make it extremely hard for the law to allow them to operate in business-as-usual mode. Authorities have tried to crack down on this online sex trade, however as Bronx News accounts, such efforts are like trying to get rid of crabgrass. Witness probably the most recent case of an internet prostitution ring, piggybacking on Craigslist Albany. Twenty-five-year-old Ross Campbell, a previous utility worker, has been arrested for pimping out young women via the site. He faces up to 50 years in prison, accounts the Bronx News New York blog.

Craigslist Albany had crimes galore

The Bronx District Attorney Robert Johnson explained that sex trafficking, kidnapping, rape and other criminal offenses with two "young" victims were occurring through Queens resident Campbell's business on Craigslist Albany. This is one of the first online-related convictions under the 2007 New York Sex Trafficking statute, and the first in Bronx County. All of Ross Campbell’s Craigslist Albany crimes, conserve for promoting prostitution, are classified as Class B felonies, punishable by up to 25 years in jail for each offense. Thus, consecutive terms are possible, yet a combined term may occur.

The gossips about internet prostitution

A 19 year old female with a three year old went to the Bronx thinking that, since she had an intimate relationship with Campbell, she'd be residing with them, court docs say. Campbell's cousin rented an apartment, Daniel Ebron, where she had been moved to and told her child would be hurt or killed so she was then "forced to engage in prostitution". On Craigslist Albany, she wound up working as a prostitute. Eventually she got away with her son and ran.

Campbell allegedly kidnapped and raped 2 other victims, ages 18 and 19, at a later time.

What happened to Demi Lovato -- rehabilitation?

Co-star on the current Disney musical tour with the Jonas brothers has canceled her appearances. Demi Lovato has announced via her publicist that she’s “entered treatment.” Some say that this is Lovato rehabilitation. The performer’s representatives say that this isn’t true. Some say there is a lot more to this story than just a Disney star gone bad.

Demi Lovato's publicist speaks

Demi Lovato has been on tour, as the actress and musician she is. The tour she was on had the Jonas Brothers on it too. On Monday, however, Demi Lovato shut down her Twitter account, canceled her tour dates and checked herself into treatment. The publicist of Demi Lovato came out and explained. She said Demi Lovato is not in rehab. Instead, the inpatient treatment is reported to be for “mental and physical issues.”.

Rehab for Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato's "rehab" has rumors going around quick. Demi Lovato had been in a relationship with Joe Jonas. This was for a while. Lovato was still going on tour with the Jonas brothers despite the relationship ended. A report of Demi Lovato getting into a physical argument with a dancer on tour came in also. Checking into treatment was what Lovato needed to do. There were numerous reasons for this.

Bullying an issue for Lovato

Within the past, Lovato has had some serious problems, the NY Post explains. Many think that Demi Lovato's previous cutting and eating disorder has to do with things. They think that's why she checked herself in. Middle school had been something Lovato didn't experience. This had been because there had been so much bullying. Who knows why Lovato really is getting treatment. No matter what it’s, now she is just an additional Disney Star with issues to work through. Though the average teen Disney star makes hundreds of thousands, if not millions of dollars on their celeb, it also appears to be a quick ticket into “adult” issues much more serious than a faxless payday advance.

Obesity trends: one 3rd of U.S. may have diabetes by 2050

One 3rd of all Americans will be dealing with diabetes by 2050 if the disease continues spreading at the current pace. A report released Oct. 22 by the Centers for Disease Control detailed the problem. It gave obesity trends and an older population as the primary causes for concern. As the cost of treating diabetes is expected to triple, the CDC has launched efforts reduce the number of cases.

Millions don’t know they have diabetes

Diabetes currently affects 1 in 10 Americans — about 23.6 million people, according to the CDC. A CNN article on the study reported that if obesity trends continue, diabetes cases are expected to double and possibly triple by 2050. About 6 million people have diabetes right now. Those are only the ones who don’t know they have it. The CDC explained that there are 57 million Americans with excess fat around their midsection. These people are pre-diabetic and, unless they change their lifestyle, will develop diabetes. Most of will end up with type 2 diabetes, and their bodies will lose the ability to produce insulin.

Much higher costs for diabetes treatment

Diabetes could be caused by age simply. There is nothing you are able to do about getting older though. Since obesity is the biggest factor that raises risk, any person can get more exercise and have a healthy diet. Avoiding obesity will conserve a lot of money also. According to the American Diabetes Association, Americans already spend $174 billion annually to treat diabetes. The ADA recommends that everyone, even if they’re not obese, get screened for diabetes by age 45. Check at an earlier age if you are obese. That is the recommendation.

Each and every ounce of a cure compared to a pound of prevention

There is a plan in motion for the CDC to help people make better lifestyle choices in order to reduce diabetes. Its prevention efforts target communities where healthy food is hard to find and safe places to exercise are scarce. Even so, the CDC record found that prevention efforts could reduce the number of cases but not keep them from increasing overall. The authors wrote that without preventive intervention, 3.5 million cases are expected in 2050. Prevention will only give a net reduction of 344,000 by 2050. That means there will still be 3.1 million cases.

Gretchen Jones takes home Project Runway Season 8 award

The fashion in Project Runway Season 8 was not the most surprising. The Project Runway finale had been a long slog towards a mostly disappointing result. The Project Runway finale provided one of the biggest surprises of all. The winner of this year’s Project Runway was a hotly discussed subject — and will probably continue to be.

The eighth season of ‘Project Runway’

Season 8 of “Project Runway” is the 3rd season the show had been on Lifetime Network. There were fourteen episodes to get a winner. There was one winner out of the seventeen contestants. "Models of the Runway" was swapped out so the episode could go for an hour and a half rather than just an hour. Of course, product placement had been all that happened in that additional half hour.

’Project Runway’ ends with a final episode

The “Project Runway” finale this year began with the season recap. The "Project Runway" finale didn't actually happen until after a long discussion of the season 8 "Project Runway" contestants talking about their experience that season. There had been minor model drama, but in general the “Project Runway” finale show went off relatively smoothly. Andy had a green-and-silver collection that judges quickly took him out of the competition with. The judges had a hard time deciding between Gretchen and Mondo though. They were both fabulous. Nina and Michael thought Gretchen’s 1970s easy, casual line “had her finger on the pulse of fashion.”. Guest judge Jessica Simpson and also the show’s host Heidi Klum, nevertheless, thought that Mondo deserved to win for his creativity and style. When the judges are choosing, a two against one vote will always win. This meant Gretchen won the competition.

'Project Runway’ going in an interesting direction

The "Project Runway" finale has been easy to predict each and every since season 6 on Lifetime. The judges when the show had been still on Bravo TV would make decisions depending on the clothes. It seemed like in season 8 of "Project Runway," just like Season 6 and Season 7, wasn't as much about the clothes. The "good for TV" personalities got to stay in the show when designers with talent were eliminated because they weren't during season 8. There's also too much product placement now. This had been shown with the additional half hour dedicated nearly completely to that. It is clear that "Project Runway" is farther from its roots than ever as shown in this episode. Fashion probably isn't going where Gretchen's "rewind" designs seem to be going since nobody is wearing it.
