Bellagio robber makes off with $1.5 million of poker chips

A man who robbed the Bellagio gambling house is on the run from LV police. The man who robbed the Bellagio took playing chips. All told, his take equaled $1.5 million. The thief of the Bellagio might be the very same individual who stolen the Suncoast Gambling house of $20,000 five days ago. He won’t have to take out a pay day loan anytime soon, unless he gets caught.

robbery at Bellagio had a simple plan

The Bellagio robbery was very simple undermining the good Las Vegas security. The metro police in Las Vegas explained that there was a 5-foot-10 inch tall man with a motorcycle at the valet. Around 4 a.m. Tuesday, he parked the motorcycle. He demanded chips at a craps table with a gun after walking in. He had his helmet on still too. Then, the dealer handed him all the poker chips. There was about $1.5 million in poker chips given to him. The Bellagio robber put the chips in his backpack and fled the gambling house on his motorcycle.

Robbing Suncoast may have been first stop before Bellagio

The motorcycle-riding Bellagio robber might not have started with the Bellagio gambling house. The cashier's cage in Suncoast was stolen of poker chips by a man with a gun who was wearing a motorcycle helmet on Dec. 9. Both robbers also used a black sport motorcycle as a getaway car. Suncoast did not lose as much in chips though within the robbery. Only about $20,000 was stolen. Police believe that the consistent pattern indicates the same person committed both robberies.

Was there an accomplice to the Bellagio robbery?

There is "legendary" security in many of the Las Vegas casinos. This is leaving many people wondering how a man, seemingly working alone, pulled off two large robberies within the space of a week. It makes sense that the Suncoast robbery happened the way it did. The security was focused on other things since there was a large poker tournament. The Bellagio robbery, however, was a simple walk-in and walk-out affair that netted $1.5 million worth of poker chips. Is it really that easy for making the Bellagio robbery take place? Maybe there was something more going on.
