Another Toyota recall of over a million vehicles

Another Toyota Motors recall has been announced – or rather, three recalls at once. If Toyota can go a few weeks without having a recall, that would be news at this point. More than 1.5 million automobiles are affected. The first recall, of over 1.3 million vehicles concerns a possible defect within the braking system or the fuel pump. Yet another Toyota recall, of an innocuous 130,000 vehicles, is in effect for brake drums which can very easily rust. A Toyota recall again

About 1.53 million cars in the whole world are being recalled by Toyota. There’s a defect in the brakes. This is just suspected though. Being recalled are the Lexus GS300, IS 250 and IS350. Also being recalled, accounts ABC, is the Toyota Motors Highlander and Avalon. The master brake cylinder seal could be defective. It is possible for the master cylinder seal to break. This would cause brake fluid leaking to occur. The leak in brake fluid can lead to a warning light and a possible loss in brake pressure. In the United States, you will find numerous automobiles being recalled in the brake cylinder recall. About 740,000 automobiles could be recalled. No accidents are reported as a result of the possible leak.

Toyota recalls from others

Toyota is also recalling 130,000 automobiles in China due to a defect in the rear wheel disk brakes, which can possibly rust. Japanese cars are being recalled as well for a fuel pump defect. This is affecting 600,000 vehicles. The fuel pump can have a possible electric fault, which can trigger the vehicle to stall. Japan is the only place where there is that defect. This is what the new York Times reports. The issue with the fuel pump seems in the Crown model only. The United States doesn’t sell that model

Suppose it is my automobile?

Owners can be getting notified via Toyota Motors. The recall only involves certain model years. These are from 2004 to 2005. This has not been a good year for Toyota Motors. Recalls don’t have to take place although Toyota Motors appears to be having lots of issues keeping them preventing this year.
