South Park Creators Receive Death Threats

sp1-240x152South Park death threats may sound like something that Trey Parker and Matt Stone would put in their own show, but after Episode 200 of South Park, South Park death threats are a very real danger. After a tongue-in-cheek depiction of Mohammad, a “radical” site posted a very detailed warning saying that Trey and Matt may well end up dead. The South Park death threats have not yet elicited an official response, though Parker and Stone may want to get unsecured personal loans to ensure they have private security.

Threats of death to South Park creators echo other murders

The specific South Park death threats posted this morning also make several references to the murder of Theo Van Gogh. A victim of a very violent murder, Theo Van Gogh was murdered by extremists. There were graphic photographs of Theo Van Gogh’s death and near-decapitation attached to the South Park death threats. Fox News interviewed the author of the intended South Park death threat post, and he said that the post was “not a threat, but is really a likely outcome” and warning to Trey Parker and Matt Stone.

Episode 200 spurs on South Park death threats

The episode that led to Abu Talhah al Amrikee posting the South Park death threats was aired on Comedy Central last week. The South Park death threats focused on the depiction of Mohammad within the episode, which was making fun of the concern of showing Mohammad. During the episode, Mohammad is depicted, but only disguised in a bear suit. During the episode, the depictions of Mohammad are covered with a large black bar that has “Censored” over the bar. Religious leaders such as Jesus, Mohammad, Buddha, and Joseph Smith have all been depicted by South Park in the past.

South Park death threats also incorporated specific information

Very specific data on Parker and Stone was involved within the posting, although it was supposedly “just a warning”. The South Park death threats also included a very specific link to the layout of the mansion in Colorado that Trey and Parker share. While Comedy Central has made no specific comment about the death threats, it would not be surprising if they offer easy money loans for Trey and Stone to beef up their security details.
